Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Pay: $20 per hour

Summary

Assists in data collection and analysis of quality data generated from Hematology systems. Writes reports to summarize results and investigation findings. Performs data analysis, identifies and solves problems to provide efficient and accurate reporting of results. May perform daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Hematology systems. Maintains necessary processes and procedures that ensure that statistical control is maintained in the measured processes. Provides support to technicians, engineers and multi-functional teams. Ability to multitask, possesses interpersonal skills, ability to adjust to change, excellent communication and writing skills, analytical skills, problem-solving skills. Ensures compliance to all FDA QSR/cGMP, ISO and Quality Policies.

Clinical/Hospital Laboratory experience preferred. Knowledge of medical technology theory and practice. 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree preferred. Graduate of an approved school of Medical Laboratory Science preferred Certification/License: M.T. (ASCP) or equivalent preferred.

Experience in the Following:

1) Proficient computer skills (Excel and Word)

2) Excellent writing skills; experienced with writing reports summarizing quality data

3) Quality Control tasks such as review/approval of documentation/results

4) Working in a laboratory environment and Good Laboratory practices and/or regulated industry 5) Reading hematology slides and/or performing reference methods desirable.

6) Working on instrument user interface tools (e.g. status monitoring, results review, editing, etc.) desirable

7) Pipetting and transfer skills desirable

8) Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field
