Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Facilities Tech for the Glendora, CA location.

Position Overview:

Provide internal support of basic facility needs by performing/carrying out Facilities responsibilities - ensuring all services are delivered and facility needs are met. Proactively identify and address facilities issues for multiple sites (within SGV), with minimal coordination on future sites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

--Complete/perform and maintain the daily operation of multiple sites (within SGV). This includes, but is not limited to, repair or maintenance to the building, furniture requirements, electrical, lighting, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, fire alarm systems, and forklift maintenance.

--Support the Facilities Manager in the execution of projects from conception to completion, managing the trades involved in each step of completion.

-- Act as liaison for coordination of physical moves (smaller projects)

--Follow all Facilities related Standard Operating Procedures and outlined in the Facilities related Standard Operating Procedures Manual. Maintain/update the current Facilities related Standard Operating Procedures Manual.

--Practice continuous improvement behaviors to develop and fine-tune the day-to-day procedures to assist in efficient operations of the department.

--Perform tasks requested for Facilities assistance to insure they are done on a timely basis and within the assigned SLA (service level agreement).

--Perform weekly inspections of primary conference rooms, customer-facing areas and common areas, and inspect facilities informally for carpet stains, marks on walls that need touch-up, damaged or stained ceiling tiles, bent or broken window blinds, etc.

--Perform inspections of each facility to include the exterior and interior of each location and provide reports to the Facilities Manager; updating him or her on the current status of the facilities.

--Work in conjunction with the Facilities Clerk to complete daily Facilities duties, as assigned

-- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned goals with minimal supervision

--May periodically assist with orienting/training lower level employees

-- Perform building preventative maintenance duties

--Maintain company vehicles

--Create purchase requisitions using corporate procurement program

--Participate in continuous improvement projects


Our ideal candidate will have:

--Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

--Experience working with procurement program

-- Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required
