Our client, a top international Pharmaceutical/Healthcare firm, is currently seeking an Accounting Manager for a 5 month temporary contract with the opportunity for an extension. The position is located in Fort Worth, TX.

The hours for this position are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

  • Pay rate is 28.00-40.86 per hour W2 for this position

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

Key finance role within NBS IT Finance. The main responsibilities are: to business partner with project manager in giving end to end support from creation of project until close out. Track and analyse US IT project spending and ensure proper charge-back to Division. Act as SPOC for Division BPAs and global NBS IT BPAs for all US IT project related inquiries. Review AUC and ensure accurate project accounting and reporting.

Business Partnering:

  • Be a business partner to PMs, Global IT BPAs, acting as SPOC for Division BPAs and Global NBS IT BPAs for all US IT project related inquiries

  • Liaison with FSC asset accounting

Planning & Analysis:

  • Responsible for correct project charge-back to Divisions and intra NBS project cross-charges

  • Analysis and control of Project expenses, including review of variations to the authorized budgets / LEs, demonstrating ability to understand rational/impacts of changes vs plans

  • Coordinate with global NBS IT project Finance/PMO for project prioritization and changes to project portfolio affecting the US

  • Review monthly AUC and provide depreciation forecast to operations BPAs during planning cycles

  • Ensure proper accounting & reporting of cost equivalent of depreciation in NBS sector in all US entities.

Reporting & Management Information:

  • Communication of unexpected events affecting financial performance, or impacting key assumptions, in a transparent and timely manner

  • Responsible for correct reporting of project cost according to global guidance

  • Ensure accurate and compliant project financials (accruals, resource allocation, CAPEX/OPEX split

Required Skills for this role include:

Requires min. 3-5 years of relevant experience in following areas:

  • Business Planning and Analyses

  • Business process and system development

  • Budgeting, controlling and reporting

  • Cost management

  • Performance monitoring (KPIs, benchmarking)

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to think critically, challenge conclusions and underlying assumptions

  • Knowledge of software & systems, such as Excel, PPT SAP, BI, TM1, Clarity

  • Finance expertise

  • Cost management, controlling, accounting

  • Adherence to key business processes and control

  • Reporting

  • Capable to formalize definitions and to ensure reporting data quality

  • Experience in managing the matrix

  • Education:

  • University Degree in Finance / MBA / Certified Expert in Accounting and Controlling or similar certificate
