Laboratory Technician -Located in Englewood, Colorado


Responsible for performing daily quality functions including: 1. Release all components, drug product containers, closures, packaging, labeling, in-process materials, and finished products. 2. Sample and inspect materials to monitor factors which may affect product quality. 3. Perform EM sampling and send plates out to an approved laboratory. Evaluate EM data, trend data in Excel or other trending software and provide EM trend reports as requested on a monthly/quarterly basis. 4. Maintain reserve samples of all active raw material lots and all finished product lots. 5. Monitor storage conditions of the manufacturing environment, materials, and products. 6. Review and retain all records associated with batch production, packaging, and labeling. 7. Review laboratory testing of the finished drug product, such as environmental monitoring, microbiological testing, chemical testing, and in-process testing. 8. Identify adverse trends and recommending improvements. 9. Communicate with Production, and Shipping/Receiving to ensure appropriate materials and supplies inventory are available, appropriately qualified, documented, and released for laboratory use. 10. Support investigations when deviations or errors occur. 11. Provide support for equipment calibration, equipment/utility/facility validation, and preventive maintenance. 12. Participate in reviews of process performance, product quality, and advocating continual improvement. 13. Comprehend SOPs, forms, operational GMP training, and quality activities 14. Other duties as assigned to ensure appropriate laboratory practices



  • Organization, accuracy in documentation skills and detail orientation

  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and procedures

  • 1-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, Medical Devices or other healthcare field

High School Diploma or equivalent
