We currently have an exciting contract to hire opportunity for a Loan Support Associate in Beaverton.

Responsibilities :

  • Schedules loan closing and compiles and types closing documents: Reviews approved mortgage loan to determine conditions that must be met prior to closing, such as purchase of private mortgage insurance.

  • Calls borrower, real estate broker, and Title Company to request specified documents, such as receipt for payment of outstanding tax bill.

  • Verifies accuracy and consistency of specifications on documents, such as title abstract and insurance forms.

  • Calls borrower, broker, and other specified individuals to arrange time and date for closing.

  • Answers questions regarding closing requirements.

  • Enters numbers and calculates loan interest and principal payment, and closing costs, using computer or factor table and calculator.

  • Perform loan processing functions including, but not limited to, data entry, filing, document preparation, auditing, and quality assurance

  • Leverage available systems and tools, and apply sound independent judgment when applicable, to perform loan processing tasks, and proactively convey needs and requirements as applicable

  • Work efficiently and quickly to meet aggressive service levels while still meeting accuracy requirements and volume expectations

  • Respond to department specific questions; research and resolve member issues

  • Process and fund approved finance requests

  • Respond to department specific questions in a timely and accurate manner

  • Perform file and/or transaction maintenance including tracking and updating information

  • Research and resolve member issues; process adjustments as appropriate

  • Types closing documents

  • Records loan information in log and on government reporting forms, using computer.

  • May compile closed loan forms for delivery to marketing department for sale to investors.

  • Excellent listening skills with ability to analyze and determine member needs, overcome objections and recommend solutions

  • Effectively interact with peers, management, and other internal and external points of contact


  • Minimum 1-3 years of loan experience

  • Customer service or administrative experience required

  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software

  • Financial industry experience required

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Aptitude for numbers

  • Well organized

  • High school degree

  • Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus
